There’s definitely room for your favorite sweet flavors when you’re following Slimming World’s Food Optimizing eating plan. These easy, frozen chocolate-caramel bites are solid gold!
Frozen chocolate caramel bites

1½ oz. milk chocolate, broken into pieces
1 (5.3-oz.) container salted caramel Greek nonfat yogurt, such as Dannon Light & Fit
2 level tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
Edible gold glitter, to decorate (optional)
- Melt the chocolate in a small microwave-safe bowl at medium power for about 1 minute and 15 seconds until melted and smooth, stopping at 30-second intervals to stir the chocolate. Or put the chocolate into a small heatproof bowl and set it over (not in) a pan of gently simmering water. Let it sit, stirring often, for 1-2 minutes, until nearly melted. Remove from the heat, stir until smooth and let cool for 1 minute.
- Quickly mix in 1 tablespoon of the yogurt to loosen the chocolate, then stir in the remainder until blended. Sift in 1 level teaspoon cocoa powder and mix well.
- Divide the mixture among a standard 14-hole ice-cube tray, using about 2 level teaspoons per cube. Sharply tap the tray on the counter to level the cubes. Freeze for 2½-3 hours, or until hard-set.
- When ready to serve, turn the chocolates out onto a plate, using a knife to loosen them, then arrange on a serving dish. Sprinkle with the remaining 1 teaspoon cocoa powder, decorate with gold glitter and serve immediately.
